Hi, this is Mark Rushton of Markrushton.com. Since 2000 I’ve been making music, sound art, field recordings, and, since 2004, albums and podcasts of my work.

I create these sounds largely to get me through my work day. I’ve worked as a software tester for almost 20 years, and so I need to have the ability to eliminate distractions, get into the flow, and focus on my work. And this music does it.

Most of it is relatively unobtrusive – for lack of a better term – “ambient” music. It works for me. Maybe it’ll work for you.
