Hum and Drift

  • Mark Rushton: “Most of this album was created on my first laptop, and numerous pieces were arranged at various coffee shops in Cedar Rapids as well as my home studio..

Like my other early efforts, this is more of a collection of tracks than a cohesive album. It’s less “rock-oriented” than The Driver’s Companion. And of my older albums this one tends to sell the most.

The artwork is lovely. When I lived in Cedar Rapids this is the route that I would take to work in Iowa City. One morning everything was ‘frosted’ and I brought my digital camera along to take some pictures and this is what I got – while driving I might add.”
