Description of Mark Rushton's process in planning, composing, and recording 'Beauty Girl Automation":

"I extracted the sections from the OGG tracks, converted them to WAV, and loaded them into the Samplr app in my iPad. I doubled each up, but only used 5 of the 6 in the mix. "02" was lowered 3 octaves, "04" was lowered two octaves, and "06" was lowered 4 octaves. Then I went about finding sections, adjusting settings, and coming up with what you hear. I made several variations, and then had to re-record my final version due to a lousy audio recorder that was throwing off buzz. The final version sounded so good, I edited to the max time of 5 minutes. Then transfer. Volume adjustment. Fades. Title. Upload...
